Student Life

“One of my greatest joys this Summer has been the incredible access to art in Paris. As an artist, free unlimited access to the Louvre, d’Orsay, l’Orangerie, and so many more museums has been an incredible resource to my education.”
– Creed Gardiner, Yale University

Learning about local culture outside of the classroom is an integral part of the study abroad experience. Discovering another country, perfecting a language and learning to interpret cultural nuances requires more than just theory. To this end, CUPA ensures that students have access to a wealth of cultural activities during the program, allowing them to look beyond their classes and better acquaint themselves with French culture and with each other.

CUPA sponsors and organizes a variety of activities, such as:
• Overnight excursion
• Tickets to performances
• “Pauses gourmandes” to discover a number of iconic French pastries
• Farewell dinner

All CUPA-sponsored cultural activities are included in the program fees for CUPA Summer.
